Lara Sanctuary is proud to present ...

A group multimedia project involving Dance Raider's Marcus Trojen, Fan Artist Annika Normann and Vladimir Sterle for the Animation.

Marcus T. explains his groups project:

The project:

I came up with the idea of creating a TR animation one day while working on a James Bond inspired TR tune called ”Nocturne” (a song which hasn’t been released.) A strong influence was also the London level of Tomb Raider III, and since Lara spends her time on the rooftops in this animation, I decided to joke with the latest Bond title and call this animation ”The Streets are not enough”. The real thing will be a short animation, there’s no actual story, it’s more like a music video, starring Lara Croft.


The people involved?

Annika Norrman is the project’s illustrator, a very talented artist, absolutely incredible. I am very impressed by her and feel lucky to have her involved, she is easy to talk to, and her drawings continues to amaze me. Annika, you’re an ace!

Vladimir Sterle, the animator, is also extraordinary. You can come up with an idea and tell him about it, and he just says “as you wish” and starts working. He’s great, and seeing my ideas taking form through his work… well, what I’ve seen looks even better than I imagined. This guy definitely knows what he’s doing.

I give them free hands to take their own initiatives, come up with their own ideas, we don’t always follow things to the letter, that’s not how things should be either. I have to say it’s a real pleasure working with them.  And I hope I don’t engulf my co-workers in too much confidence, but Annika and Vladimir really deserves credit for their efforts, don’t know what I would have done without them.
