Introduction

After her many journeys into tombs and temples from various areas around the world, I wish this site to be a tribute to the cyber Goddess Lara Croft.

My first acquaintance with her was in spring 1997, where room-mates of mine decided, unaware of her impact on the gaming world, to have a go at the game. They weren't web literate, so it was purely by chance that it caught their eye. I was scared at the time of the game pad on the PSX, so I decided to watch them play. All I can say is that I was awestricken, and spent a sleepless week, looking at them play... WOW!

I would be a nervous wreck whenever they would attempt perilous and impossible looking jumps in St-Francis' Folly. I would be startled when an enemy would creep behind Miss Croft. So needless to say... I fell for her and her world.... The game Tomb Raider.

After a few months, Lara had left my mind, until I bought myself a PSX. There was an advertisement for Tomb Raider 2 on the box.... I knew that I would play it as soon as it came out...

Now I am here, having completed all five adventures, impatiently waiting for the new sequel. In the mean time, to keep her alive, I am dedicated to creating a site devoted to her and her many adventures...
